When attemtping to install Xcelerator through the Administration Interface in Cognos Express, the following error occurs:
Cause When attempting to install Xcelerator, you may encounter the following error:
SDK-ERR-0064 Installation of Xcelerator failed: Exit value = 1602
or
SDK-ERR-0064 Installation of Xcelerator failed: MOD-ERR-0013 The following prerequisites have not been installed: .NET Framework Version 3.0
Cause
The wrong version of Microsoft .NET Framework is installed.
Solution
Install the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework or repair the installation if it already exists.
| Symptom
After uninstalling IBM Cognos Express Xcelerator and attempting to reinstall, the following error may occur:

Cause
Entries Remain in Registry After Uninstalling Xcelerator
Solution
This error may occur when certain registry entries are left behind after Xcelerator is uninstalled.

When logged into Cognos Express Manager and trying to install one of the 3 modules, the following errors appear:

Cause
UNC path are not supported for Cognos Express
Solution
Steps
1. Copy the installation source to a local directory of the Cognos Express server.
2. Uninstall Cognos Express
3. Reinstall Cognos Express using the local directory |
