Metric Data Service Errors You can encounter these errors during SDK developing or you may run into them in some other way.
It gives you the error message and sometimes a solution or hint to resolve your issue. MDS-RUN-3180
The metric data store referenced by the package '<param name="param1"/>' failed
to complete the validation step.
An unexpected error occurred in the validation process. MDS-RUN-3181
The metric data store referenced by the package '<param name="param1"/>' must
be initialized.
To initialize the Metric Studio instance, click the Metric Studio link in Cognos Connection, and
then select the desired package. MDS-RUN-3182
The metric data store referenced by the package '<param name="param1"/>' must
be upgraded.
To upgrade the Metric Studio instance, click the Metric Studio link in Cognos Connection, and
then select the desired package. MDS-RUN-3183
The metric data store referenced by the package '<param name="param1"/>' must
be refreshed.
To refresh the Metric Studio instance, click the Metric Studio link in Cognos Connection, and
then select the desired package. MDS-RUN-3184
The metric data store referenced by the package '<param name="param1"/>' does
not contain a calendar. A calendar must be created.
To load a calendar for the Metric Studio instance, click the Metric Studio link in Cognos
Connection, and then select the desired package. MDS-RUN-3185
The metric data store referenced by the package '<param name="param1"/>' is
locked by an install in progress.
To unlock the Metric Studio instance, click the Metric Studio link in Cognos Connection, and
then select the desired package. Only when the install process finishes is the lock removed and
other requests allowed to perform on that metric store. MDS-RUN-3186
The metric data store referenced by the package '<param name="param1"/>' is
locked by un upgrade in progress.
To upgrade the Metric Studio instance, click the Metric Studio link in Cognos Connection, and
then select the desired package. Only when the upgrade process finishes is the lock removed and
other requests allowed to perform on that metric store. MDS-RUN-3187
